Should I confront my math teacher? ?

just say "you told me i could do extra credit because i asked. i spent numerous hours on all the problems YOU told me to do for the extra credit YOU told me i could do. i don't think it's fair that you told me i could do some then tell me i couldn't after what you tole me before. can you explain why it doesn't count all of a sudden?"
