33 years for OJ? Sounds excessive?
Yes, 33 years is excessive for a crime where no one was hurt or killed and I do believe that his acquittal was considered by the D.A. the Judge and the Las Vegas police. O.J. tried to get help retrieving his property from the LVPD, and the FBI before taking matters into his own hands and was turned down by both. Seems to me that he was setup for failure and he was not thinking enough to avoid it. A first offense does not warrant that kind of time, and I don't understand why people are not allowed to take their property back from someone who stole it from them. I guess that is the way of the world, the bad guys get the breaks and the good guys get to be victims.
