No one has said anything. I think the future of space exploration is in private hands. They will have a rocket by next year that can take paying pengers to space for only 20,000 each (compared to 500,000 or so paid five years ago). And I'm sure in a decade or so, private space companies will have the facilities to start with spacewalks and some scientific experiments in space. We may still need NASA to get to Mars, but not for near space anymore..
