I was thinking & this came to mind. MLA format to publishers/agents...all of the text has to be Times NewRoman?

It is best to submit a mcript in 12 point Times New Roman or Arial. Apart from using italics to indicate something that a character has written down, you should not change the font. The publisher will format in their house style.
