Head-Strong Religion in public schools?

I don't think religion should be taught in public schools period. I believe religious beliefs are a personal choice and should be taught by the parents of a child. Teachers should be teaching children the truth, backed by scientific evidence. Faith isn't something you can teach people in school, faith is a personal discovery. Just because someone disagrees with your point of view doesn't mean they hate america. Aren't the teachings of Jesus based on tolerance and love? If anything, I think evolution supports their theory of intelligent design.
