Brink - Games for Windows?

I recently bought Brink, a game for the PC that is also considered a 'Games for Windows'. I looked into the Windows Live client, and relised I could also play this PC game with Xbox Live friends. How exactly do I go about doing this? I already downloaded the 'Games for Windows Live Marketplace' but I see no tooltip for adding gamertags and the like.
